April 11 | 5 p.m. MT – Men’s Basketball – New Mexico at Wyoming (2/20/18) – W, 119-114
Fans may remember this game as the record-breaking outing for the Lobos inside Arena Auditorium in Laramie, Wyo. in which the Lobos posted a 119-114 victory over the Cowboys, registering the most points ever scored by an opponent in the facility. The game stands as the highest-scoring conference game for the Lobos at 119 points as well as the highest scoring conference half with 64 points in the second half.

The game also broke the record for the highest-scoring game (both teams) in conference history for UNM with 233 combined points and is the 15th-highest scoring game for UNM overall in Lobo history. The Lobos also broke the all-time program record for most 3-pointers in a season in the contest.

April 14 | 2 p.m. MT – Football – New Mexico at UNLV (10/6/18) – W, 50-14
The Lobos pulled off a commendable victory over the Runnin’ Rebels in this matchup in which New Mexico poured on the points in the second quarter, exploding for 29 points as the Lobos raced past UNLV in Las Vegas. Twenty-nine points marked the fourth-highest scoring quarter in school history as well as the most points UNM had ever scored in a second quarter against an FBS school.

The win at the time moved New Mexico to 3-2 on the season and 1-0 in league play. Highlights include the then-career-long 44-yard field goal by Andrew Shelley that put the Lobos up 15-0 and a 74-yard touchdown by Elijah Lilly with 2:56 to go in the opening half to make it 22-0 Lobos. UNM’s 50 points in the contest marked the most ever scored against UNLV, besting the previous-most 49 in 1982 and the 36-point victory was UNM’s largest margin of victory in a road conference game since topping UTEP in El Paso on Oct. 21, 1972.

April 22 | 2 p.m. MT – Football – NMSU at New Mexico (9/21/19) – W, 55-52
Fans who were there at Dreamstyle Stadium will remember this wild Rio Grande Rivalry matchup as the one in which Ahmari Davis leaped over a pile of lineman on fourth-and-inches with just over two minutes on the clock at the Aggie 37-yard line and picked up 17 yards to seal a wild 55-52 victory for the Lobos. The win pushed UNM to 2-1 on the season and dropped NM State to 0-4.

The teams combined for 107 points, the second-most ever in the rivalry history (the record stands at 113 back in 1917), and the seventh-most in UNM history. Highlights from the game (other than the Lobos prevailing against the Aggies on UNM’s home turf) include Jerrick Reed II’s interception for a 43-yard TD for his first career interception in his first career start, Andrew Shelley’s 48- and 49-yard field goals to improve him to 13-for-14 in his career and quarterback Tevaka Tuioti’s first 300-yard game against an FBS opponent.

April 24 | 5 p.m. MT – Men’s Basketball – NMSU at New Mexico (12/14/19) – W, 69-62
This epic matchup resulted in the first Lobo men’s basketball sweep over the Aggies in the Paul Weir era, and Lobo fans got to see it inside Dreamstyle Arena – The Pit after UNM topped NMSU in Las Cruces earlier in the season. The victory marked the fifth straight for the Lobos to extend UNM’s home win streak at the time to 7-0.

The Aggies built an early lead before the Lobos tore away on a 10-1 run to take a three-point lead, 16-13 within four minutes. NMSU led by two (33-31) at halftime but in the game that saw eight lead changes, it was the Lobos that put the pressure on in the second half with a 17-4 run that caused NMSU head coach Chris Jans to call a timeout with the Lobos leading by seven, 42-37, with 15:34 left. The Lobos ran away with the game over the final 10 minutes as fans screamed and brought broomsticks onto the floor after buzzer rang.
