New Mexico Mutual Champions Center

With your help the New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center will open in the summer of 2022 to provide a superior strength and conditioning space for the university’s 325 student-athletes spanning 18 women’s & men’s athletics programs.

The New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center started with a bold vision back in 2016. Knowing that UNM was facing a dire need to elevate the strength and conditioning facilities available to Lobo student-athletes, New Mexico Mutual took the key step of committing $1 Million to name a new training center and to inspire other private donors to contribute to the cause.

The New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center will be located between the existing L.F. “Tow” Diehm Athletics Facility and the south end zone of University Stadium. The space will feature a full array of cardio fitness, weight training and nutrition stations. Athletes from all UNM sports teams will benefit from using this facility.

We want you on our team. The New Mexico Mutual Champions Training center will come to fruition with gifts from many donors. Your support will help us meet our high expectations for a first-class facility. All leadership-level gifts over $10,000 will be honored with donor recognition within the new space.
