The University of New Mexico Athletics Department is committed to creating, embracing, supporting, and sustaining a culture of inclusion, diversity, equity, and social justice. We as Lobos are dedicated to celebrating students, coaches, staff, and spectators of all races, ethnicities, sexes, religions, sexual orientations, gender expressions, gender identities, and abilities.

As the flagship leaders for the state, in our department, in our community, in the classroom, and in the competition, the Department of Athletics aspires to providing a safe and welcoming space for every employee, student and guest.  We are committed to providing DEI training for our staff, coaches, and student-athletes; to celebrating differences; and to providing a safe space for all employees and student-athletes seeking help, advise or protection.
