Promotional Calendar

Below is the promotional calendar for 2026 UNM Football Season.

 Group Ticket Promotions

Group tickets are available for every UNM football game.  Groups have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets.  Groups can participate in other exciting promotions like these.

Primary Group Ticket Benefits

  • Reduced Price Tickets: Group tickets are sold at a discounted rate lower than regular tickets.
  • Cater-to-you Packages: If you have an idea for something your group would like to do, let us know. We will work with you to try and craft a nice group experience.

Game-By-Game Promotions

UNM vs. Central Michigan  – September 5th 

  • Home opener – Lobo Football is back!

UNM vs. Mercyhurst- September 12th 

  • Hispanic Heritage Celebration – Look for a special performance in our Louie Lane tailgate area to celebrate our unique Hispanic heritage in New Mexico
  • Educator Appreciation Day – In partnership with the NCAA's Extra Yard for Teachers campaign, APS educators will recognized throughout the game for their contributions in our classrooms and the community.

UNM vs. UTEP- October 3rd 

  • Cherry Out – Break out your Cherry Gear and help us turn University Stadium Cherry!
  • Lobos Sack Cancer - Partnering with UNM Comprehensive Cancer to raise awareness and recognize survivors.

UNM vs. North Dakota State- October 24th 

  • Homecoming The 2026 Homecoming celebration will be conducted in partnership with the UNM Alumni Association.  Look forward to additions to the gameday atmosphere, including pregame tailgate elements and the coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen.
  • Giveaway to be announced at a later date.

UNM vs. UNLV- November 14th 

  • Indigenous Heritage Game – Join Lobo Football in celebrating the Indigenous culture that helps define our state. More details to be announced
  • Hall of Honor – Celebrate those inducted into the UNM Hall of Honor who will be recognized on the field during this game.
  • Giveaway to be announced at a later date.

UNM vs. Air Force (Saturday, November 27th)

  • Military Appreciation Join us in recognizing all military members in attendance for their service to our country.  Louie Lane will be full of military and law enforcement vehicle displays.  Pregame, there will be a joint color guard to present the colors.
  • Senior Day – Join us as we say goodbye to our senior class at their final game at University Stadium!
  • Giveaway announced at a later date.

Season Long Promotions

On Field Features

  • Band Performances : Don’t miss the pregame and halftime performance of the UNM Band.
  • Spirit Squad: The UNM cheer and dance teams perform during all Lobo football games.
  • On Field Contests: Lucky Lobo fans will be brought on the field and given a chance to win at every game.
