Lertsadwattana, UNM’s first MW Freshman of the Year honoree since former Lobo Jodi Ewart earned the award in 2006-07, led the Lobos with 74.05 strokes per round and was the highest-ranked freshman golfer in the Mountain West. She registered three top-15 finishes on the season including a season-best ninth-place finish at the Rebel Beach Intercollegiate in February.

In the Lobos’ last competition of the season at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational, Lertsadwattana rounded out her stellar season helping lead UNM while registering an eagle in round two as one of just 12 players to card an eagle on the competition.
