Danny Urquhart joined the Lobo family in January of 2025 and he serves as a defensive recruiting graduate assistant. The Albuquerque native joined the Lobos after three seasons as a scouting and recruiting intern at the University of Kansas.
With the Jayhawks, Urquhart he helped assemble the 2024 class, the highest-rated high school recruiting class in Kansas history. During his time in Kansas, the Jayhawks also appeared in back-to-back bowl games in 2022 and 2023. The 2022 season marked the first bowl trip for Kansas in 14 years, and the 2023 season marked the first nine-win season in 16 years. In addition to his recruiting duties, he also worked closely with the Jayhawks’ defensive coaching staff helping execute travel plans and evaluating high school student-athletes.
Urquhart graduated from Albuquerque Academy in 2020 before attending the Kansas and graduating with a degree in Sports Management in 2024.
