Charles Crawford joined the Lobo Family in January of 2025 and he serves as an offensive recruiting graduate assistant. He began his coaching career in 2024 with Sam Houston State.
With the Bearkats, Crawford spent the 2024 season as Offensive Recruiting Analyst and Running Backs Assistant. In his lone season, he helped guide SHSU to a 10-3 record and its first-ever bowl victory, marking a significant milestone in the program’s rise from the FCS to FBS ranks.
Crawford played running back for Sam Houston State University from 2020 to 2023, where he was a member of the 2020 National Championship team. During his collegiate career, he was a key factor as SHSU won 21 games in a single calendar year of 2021. He was also a part of the inaugural FBS team for the Bearkats.
