Logan Ruiz-Jones joined the Lobo Football program in January of 2024, and he serves as Assistant Director of Athletic Performance working with football and baseball.

This will be Logan-Ruiz’s first year working with Bronco Mendenhall.

With New Mexico, Logan-Ruiz will work under Nate Pototschnik in the athletic performance space in the areas of strength, conditioning and injury prevention and rehabilitation for both football and baseball.

Logan-Ruiz came to UNM after spending two years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Central Michigan, working with the football program. He also spent time as an intern at Texas working with football (2021), Texas Tech (2020) and Northern Illinois.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Logan-Ruiz earned a bachelor’s in kinesiology and sports performance from Northern Illinois in 2020. He also has a pair of master’s degrees, in kinesiology and exercise science from Texas Tech (2021) and in sports administration from Central Michigan (2022).
