
Logan Ruiz-Jones joined the Lobo family program in January 2024 and serves as Assistant Director of Athletic Performance, working with UNM’s Olympic sports.
With New Mexico, Logan-Ruiz works in the athletic performance space, focusing on areas such as strength, conditioning, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
Logan-Ruiz came to UNM after spending two years as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Central Michigan, working with the football program. He also spent time as an intern at Texas (2021), Texas Tech (2020), and Northern Illinois.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Logan-Ruiz earned a bachelor’s in kinesiology and sports performance from Northern Illinois in 2020. He also has a pair of master’s degrees, in kinesiology and exercise science from Texas Tech (2021) and sports administration from Central Michigan (2022).
