
Ben Sherman enters his first season as an offensive graduate assistant with the Lobos.
With the offense, Sherman will handle on-the-field coaching, game preparation, film work, and statistical analysis. Sherman comes to UNM after a stint as a high school coach with Brenham High School in the Brenham Independent School District. He also has spent time as a defensive intern at Endicott College in 2015. He also spent time in 2012 as a football operations intern with the Miami Dolphins where he aided in rookie camp and minicamp activities and assisted offensive line coach Jim Turner.
Sherman, the son of former Texas A&M and Green Bay Packers head coach Mike Sherman, played collegiately at St. Norbert College, where he lettered for three years as a center, guard and tight end.
