Trajuan Briggs enters his first season as a defensive graduate assistant with the Lobos. This is his first coaching stop.
With UNM, Briggs will work with all facets of on-the-field coaching, game preparation, film work, and statistical analysis.
Briggs is no stranger to UNM, as he came to the Lobos after transferring from California in 2012, and he played in the 2013 and 2014 seasons after redshirting. After coming as a running back, he switched to linebacker and lettered for two seasons.
He played his prep ball in California at Birmingham Senior High School, where he was a highly sought after running back, rated in the top 100 backs in the nation by Rivals and ESPN.
