2020 (Redshirt Junior Season): Played and started in all 18 games, going 15-for-68, a .221 average … started games in left and right field, first base and third base … led UNM with three triples … went 2-for-5 with an RBI, a double and a triple in a win over Northern Colorado … went 1-for-2 with a bases-clearing double against BYU … also walked 11 times on the season.

2019 (Redshirt Sophomore Season): Saw action in 51 games, all starts … hit .359, going 71-for-198 with 16 doubles, three triples and four home runs … also walked 26 times for an .439 on-base percentage … scored 36 runs … stole 11 bases on the season … slugged .530.

2018 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Was named to the Freshman All-American team after holding a .326 batting average over 48 games (48 starts) … Had two home runs, 10 doubles and three triples with 15 multi-hit games, including eight three-hit games … Served as starting first-baseman, committing just one error from that position to give him a .986 fielding percentage.

2017 (Freshman Season): Redshirted with an injury after playing in three games, scoring twice

Personal: Born May 17, 1998 to Joe and Jacki Mang … has three siblings: Zachary, Lexi and Jared (who also plays for the Lobo baseball team) … Helped Los Alamos High School get to the Class 6A state quarterfinals in 2016 and to the semifinals in 2015 … He’s a four-time first-team all-district player at Los Alamos and was all-state for three years. … Along with his brother Jared already on the Lobos, his other brother Zack played baseball at Otero Junior College and Southwestern Oklahoma State. … His favorite athlete is Andrew McCutchen.
