SENIOR (2013):Taken by the Seattle Mariners in the 25th round of the MLB draft … made 22 relief appearances for the Lobos totaling 20.1 innings … made season debut in season-opening series vs. Oklahoma St. … in two games vs. the Cowboys he allowed just one earned run in 5.1 innings and struck out five without walking a batter … on May 4 he threw 1.1 shutout innings vs. Air Force on Senior Day … finished the season with 16 strikeouts and was adept at keeping the ball on the ground, recording 29 groundouts compared to 13 flyouts … did not allow a single earned run in four straight appearances from March 13 to March 19.

JUNIOR (2012): Made 17 appearances for the Lobos, 16 in relief … posted a 2-1 record with a 5.40 ERA and 22 strikeouts in 20 innings … made his collegiate debut on Feb. 18 against Nevada and earned his first career win … did not allow a run in his first five innings of the season … earned his second win at TCU on May 5 by hurling 1.2 shutout innings in the Lobos’ 6-5 win … struck out a season-high six in three innings against Arizona St. on Apr. 10 … made his only start of the season Mar. 27 against Stephen F.
