*Played two seasons at Riverside Community College for coach Tom Craft
*Led Riverside to a 10-2 season and a berth in the SCFA Championship game
*His squad averaged 458.9 yards per game and 38.6 points per game
*As a sophomore captain he was named First Team All-Southern California Football Association as the line he anchored led the league in total offense, rushing yards, rushing yards per game, rushing yards per carry and rushing touchdowns
