2017 (Redshirt Freshman Season): Played in 10 games for the Lobos at the rush backer position, starting eight … finished seventh on the team in tackles with 37, including 2.5 TFLs for nine yards, and 1.0 sacks for eight yards … had a career-high seven tackles twice in back-to-back games, against Boise State and against Tulsa … recorded his first career sack against Tulsa, ending a Tulsa drive at midfield … added six tackles against Air Force and New Mexico State … had five tackles against Fresno State.

High School: Lettered at Proviso West High School where he played both football for coach Famous Hulbert, as well as soccer … named both all-conference and all-state as a senior and also all-area … recorded 40 tackles his senior year along with an interception and a tackle for loss … also scored four touchdowns on offense, three rushing and one receiving … caught 11 passes for 152 yards and rushed for 264 yards and three more scores … also was a top prep basketball player, breaking the 1,000-point barrier for his career when he was just a junior.
