New Mexico: A former walk-on to the program in the summer of 2012 who ended up with a scholarship after the 2013 season … has added nearly 30 pounds since his 2012 arrival … has been called by most analysts the best pure football player on the squad … a 2012, 2013 and 2014 Academic All-Mountain West selection … also named a MW Scholar-Athlete in 2012-2013 … a 2014-15 Lobo Scholar-Athlete … a 2015 Spring Camp Hard Hat winner, finsihing in the top 10 … named a 2014 Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.

2014 (Junior Season): Played in all 12 games, and made 11 starts for the Lobos this season … finished the season with eight catches for 124 yards, and one touchdown … his touchdown reception with 35 seconds left gave UNM a 38-35 win at New Mexico State in the Rio Grande Rivaley … recorded three catches for 47 yards against Boise State … had his longest reception of the season against Utah State, a 29-yard gain … also made two kickoff returns for a total of 30 yards.

2013 (Sophomore Season): Played in all 12 games with four starts as the Lobos used a double-tight end set to start … finished with four receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown … caught a career-long 50-yard pass for a touchdown against Colorado State.

2012 (True Freshman Season): Played five games for the Lobos, mostly on special teams … served as the New Mexico Man (a weekly award to the walk-on who exhibits the dedication, work ethic, team spirit and unselfishness that exemplifies Lobo football and the state of New Mexico) on Oct. 6 vs. Texas State.
