2014 (Junior Season): Played in all 12 games, mostly on special teams, recording 10 tackles, a fumble recovery and a half a tackle for a loss … saw action at linebacker after Dakota Cox left the Air Force game with an injury, and in the seasons’s final three games after Cox torn his ACL … had a season-high three tackles against Air Force … recoevered a fumble on a fumbled punt against UNLV … recorded two tackles each against Boise State and against Colorado State, with a half a tackle for loss in the latter.
2013 (Sophomore Season): Participated in 10 games in 2013, mostly on special teams … recorded three tackles on special teams, one each against New Mexico State, Air Force and Boise State.
2012 (Freshman Season): Played in six games, all on special teams … played a significant role in the improvement of special teams from the 2011 season … pplayed on both the kickoff return and kickoff coverage teams.
High School: The Division I, Section 3 Player of the Year in 2011 for Desert Vista and coach Dan Hinds … led the state with 156 tackles and had three sacks and two fumble recoveries last season…rushed for 800 yards, had 100 receiving yards and scored 20 touchdowns … also a first-team Division I, Section 3 linebacker and second-team running back … the Southeast Valley Tribune’s Player of the Year … a first-team All-Arizona LB (all divisions), according to an Arizona high school coaches poll … an Arizona Republic first-team all-state LB … earned Ron Pritchard Award as the top LB in Arizona (all classifications) at the National Football Foundation Super 25 Banquet … one of five finalists in 2010 for the Ed Doherty Award, which goes to the Arizona high schools Player of the Year, earned first-team All-Fiesta Region LB and second-team All-Fiesta Region RB honors … Fiesta Region Two-Way Player of the Year and second-team all-state LB … a second-team All-Fiesta Region LB and RB as a sophomore in 2009 … lettered in wrestling and track and field … finished fifth in the 2011 state wrestling tournament heavyweight division.
