SENIOR (2013):Taken with the first pick of the 37th round by the Houson Astros in the MLB draft … named All-Mountain West first team after hitting .329 with 15 doubles, five triples, three home runs, scoring 47 runs and driving in 41 … also stole 13 bases and started all 59 games in center field, one of only two Lobos to start every game at the same position … had a 26-game hitting streak, sixth longest in school history, from March 24 to May 5 … hit .438 (42-96) during the streak with 12 multi-hit games, including a season-high four vs. Air Force May 3 … scored 24 runs and drove in 20 with nine doubles, three triples and three home runs over those 26 games … tied a career high with four RBI vs. San Diego St. on May 18 … named MW Player of the Week April 15 for his performances against No. 10 Arkansas and Fresno St. … hit .526 (10-19) with five runs scored and two RBI that week … named CoSIDA Academic All-District … UNM went 29-12 with him hitting sixth or seventh in the lnieup … named both Academic All-Mountain West and a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete for the second straight season … also named a Capital One Academic All-District Team by CoSIDA.
