New Mexico: An early enrollee in January 2014 who had the benefit of spring practice … turned into an every down player in 2015.
2016 (Junior Season): Had a breakout season, playing all 12 games and starting 11 … earned Second Team All-Mountain West honors after ranking third in the league, and leading the team with 6.5 sacks … recorded 25 tackles overall with 7.5 tackles for loss … had four tackles, including 2.5 sacks for 16 yards at New Mexico State … had 1.5 sacks each against San Jose State and ULM … had two tackles for loss and a sack against Colorado State.
2015 (Sophomore Season): Played in 12 games for the Lobos, starting the first seven … missed the San Jose State game with an injury and has slowly worked himself back into the lineup … recorded 14 tackles on the season …. 6.5 of those have been for loss … has two sacks and a pass break up … had a career-high four tackles with two for loss and a sack against Tulsa … recorded three solo tackles, all for loss in a great effort against Boise State … had a pair of tackles against Arizona State and Mississippi Valley State … broke up a pass against Wyoming.
2014 (Freshman Season): Played in 11 games for the Lobos, and made one start against Colorado State … finished the season with four total tackles, and one forced fumble … also recorded two quarterback hurries and one pass breakup …had a hurry and a pass break-up against Wyoming.
High School: Played at Centennial High School in Corona and was rated the No. 48 weakside defensive end in the nation by 247 Sports and the No. 74 defensive end overall nationally by ESPN in 2012 … played in the 2013 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in Calif., featuring some of the best high school players across the nation … recorded a sack and forced a fumble in the game … also was named to the 2012 PrepStar All-West Region and was Scout.com’s No. 9-rated defensive end in the West … had 69 tackles, nine tackles for loss and three sacks for the Huskies during his senior season, earning first-team All-Big VIII League honors … Centennial was the California State Open Division runner-up in 2012 and ranked 13th nationally by MaxPreps, finishing with a 14-2 record … during his three years on the Huskies varsity, Centennial was state runner-up twice, won the SoCal Region Open Division crown (2012), and was two-time Southern Section Inland Division champion and three-time Big VIII League champion.
