New Mexico: Honored on 2014 Senior Day, but earned his fifth-year back after graduation and will be a redshirt senior … turned into a big-play defensive back in 2014 … originally came to the program as a wide receiver in 2011 … returned to the team after leaving the program in 2012 … originally signed with Colorado in 2010.
2014 (Redshirt Junior Season): Recorded 15 tackles, 12 solos after playing in 10 games with no starts … recorded a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an interception on the season, all within three defensive plays in the fourth quarter against San Diego State … also had three tackles in that game … perhaps made his biggest contribution to the win column in the finale against Wyoming, where he recorded five tackles and successfully defended three shots into the end zone, blanketing his receiver on all three passes from inside the 10-yard line in the final minute.
2013 (Redshirt Sophomore Season): A big-time contributor on special teams who gained experience at cornerback as well … finished the season with 13 tackles, including eight solos, and one pass breakup … had a career-high two unassisted tackles against Fresno State.

2011 (Freshman Season): Ten games played with one start, at San Diego State…biggest contributions came on kickoff returns…finished the season with 11 runbacks for an average of 23.0 yards…also had two receptions for nine yards on the season.
High School: An All-Region selection by PrepStar IN 2009 and ranked as the No. 64 athlete by ESPN and No. 72 by Rivals.com coming out of Hamilton High School in Los Angeles…played wide receiver, defensive back, and quarterback and was a kick returner as he started for four years at various positions for coach Adam Golding…as a senior, he led Hamilton to an 11-3 record and Los Angeles City Sectionals championship, the first in the school’s 78-year history…he was the Los Angeles City Section Player of the Year and named first team All-City by the Los Angeles Times…playing wide receiver, he caught 77 passes for 1,691 yards and 16 touchdowns…he was responsible for 27 touchdowns, as he also had three rushing touchdowns, two passing touchdowns, two touchdowns on kickoff returns, one on a punt return and three on interception returns…defensively, he accounted for 50 tackles and had 10 interceptions…he forced two fumbles and had two blocked kicks…as a junior, he earned second-team All-City by the Los Angeles Times and played more quarterback while remaining at defensive back on defense…he accounted for 10 touchdowns, passing for five, rushing for four and receiving one…he also returned kicks and punts and defensively, he had three interceptions, one forced fumble, five blocked kicks and 35 tackles…as a sophomore, he was named second-team All-City by the Los Angeles Times, catching 54 balls for 725 yards and seven touchdowns… also threw for a pair of touchdowns playing primarily wide receiver on offense…defensively that season, he had three interceptions…as a freshman while earning first-team All-Western Section: L.A. City, he had 27 receptions for 525 yards and two touchdowns on offense and had two blocked kicks and an interception on defense…he also participated in track & field and baseball at Hamilton…on the track, he ran the 200 and 400 and anchored the 4×100 meter relay team…he earned all-league honors by running the 400 in 55.50 seconds…he played baseball as a sophomore and senior.
