High School: Lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Silver High School … in football he helped Silver to a pair of state title games, in 2012 and 2013 … in 2013 as a senior he was First Team All-District 3-3A as a quarterback, defensive back and as a punter … was also named First Team All-State in all three of those positions … was the New Mexico 3A Quarterback of the Year, and team MVP … as a junior was First Team All-District 3-3A as a quarterback, defensive back and as a punter … was First Team All-State as a defensive back, and was Second Team All-State at quarterback and punter … was also named Second Team All-District 3-3A as a quarterback as a sophomore … in baseball he helped Silver to a 3A state title in 2014 … was a three-year member of the National Honor Society and a three-year recipient of the The Academic Letter Award.
