
JUNIOR (2014): Drafted in the 24th round of the MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins … named a Johnny Bench Award semifinalist and earned All-Mountain West first team honors for his play behind the plate … hit .320 (73-for228) and finished tied for third in the nation (first among catchers) with 25 doubles … scored 34 runs, finished second on the team with 47 RBIs, and added one triple and two home runs … slugged .465, second on the team … was third on the team with 20 multi-hit games and second with 14 multi-RBI games … recorded a hit in 25 of 27 games from Feb. 23 to April 6 … hit .342 (33-for-96) during that stretch with 13 doubles, 23 RBIs and 21 runs scored … named Mountain West Player of the Week for the week of April 28-May 4 … hit .615 (8-for-13) that week with two runs, two RBIs and four doubles … recorded four hits in a game three times: vs. San Jose State on March 21, at San Jose State on April 18 and vs. San Diego State on May 4 … also drove in a season-high four runs against San Jose State on March 21 … had five games with two doubles this season.
