ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s golf team returns to action this week when it travels to Tucson for the Arizona Intercollegiate. The event, hosted by Arizona at the 7,072-yard, par-72 Tucson Country Club, will run Monday-Tuesday.

The tournament will consist of two rounds on Monday and one round on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available on SmartGolf.

The event consists of 14 teams, including three in the top 50 of the national rankings. The Lobos, at No. 19 in the nation, are the second-highest ranked in the field, behind host Arizona at No. 11. Long Beach State is No. 50 nationally, with UTEP, Central Arkansas, Nevada, Wyoming, Sacramento State, New Mexico State, Utah Valley, Utah State, Abilene Christian, George Washington and Denver rounding out the field.

The Lobos will feature a lineup of Bastien Amat, Albert Boneta, Matthew Watkins, Carson Herron and David Davila. Connor Adams will compete as an individual.

The Lobos are coming off a T-5th place finish at the Lamkin Invitational in San Diego last month. New Mexico has two victories this season, having won the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in the fall and the NIT to open the spring schedule.
