Register now for annual First Pitch Banquet, featuring Rick Monday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico baseball program announced former MLB all-star Rick Monday as its keynote speaker at its First Pitch Banquet, the annual fundraising event to kick off the spring season.

Registration is now open to attend the event, which will take place on Jan. 20, 2023 at the Sandia Resort. The banquet will begin at 5 p.m. and will feature cocktails, dinner, and an auction. Doors to the event open at 5 p.m., with a cash bar available and a silent auction going until 6:30 p.m. The VIP meet & greet with Monday is from 5:15-6 p.m., with the banquet commencing and dinner being served at 6:30 p.m.

Sponsorship Opportunities
-$150 – Sponsor a Lobo baseball player
-$150 – Individual seat
-$1,500 – Table for 10 people
-$1,500 – Table for 10 people w/8 guests to be seated w/2 current UNM players
-$5,000 – VIP Table, including a cocktail hour with Rick Monday and a VIP table with up-close seating for 10 people for the banquet
-$8,000 – VIP Meet & Greet Sponsorship, including a VIP table for 10 guests, signage at the VIP meet-and-greet, and acknowledgement during the banquet

A 19-year MLB veteran, Monday was a two-time all-star in a career that spanned from 1966-84 with the Royals, Athletics, Cubs, and Dodgers. A notable centerfielder, Monday hit .264 in his career with 241 home runs and 775 runs batted in, while helping lead the Dodgers to the World Series title during the 1981 season. He is currently a broadcaster for the Dodgers.
