Lobo Women’s Golf Travels to California for The Molly Collegiate Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team returns to action this week as it travels to California for the Molly Collegiate Invitational. The tournament will be held at the 6,218-yard, par-72 Bayonet Golf Course in Monterey, Calif.

The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. PT. The final round will be Tuesday, starting with a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available on Golfstat.com.

This year’s tournament features 14 schools. Joining the Lobos and co-hosts California and Oregon State are Cal Poly, Fresno State, Nebraska, Nevada, Sacramento State, San Francisco, San Jose State, Stanford, UC Davis, UCLA and UNLV.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Napat “Jenny” Lertsadwattana, Lauren Lehigh, Caroline Jansson, Myah McDonald and Lisa-Marie Pagliano.

The event will be the second of the season for New Mexico. In their season debut two weeks ago, the Lobos finished third at its home tournament, the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational. Lertsadwattana led UNM with a third-place individual finish on her home course.

This year marks the first appearance for the Lobos at the Molly Collegiate Invitational.
