Lobo Pride Episode 10: Jared and Connor Mang
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Jared and Connor Mang had always played baseball together, and Connor knew his older brother Jared wanted to go to New Mexico. Connor figured he would go to Jared’s rival, to spice things up. But he didn’t figure on a couple of things. One, the love of family. Two, that if you are going to play baseball in this state, and you want to make a difference, you are going to play for Ray Birmingham and UNM.
Now, the two Mangs are offensive weapons, and best of friends. The drive to get back to winning championships, and doing it together under the flag of New Mexico, and wearing UNM across the chest, is fueling their fire for 2019.
