Night of Champions Tuesday Night at University Stadium

The annual Lobo Football Night of Champions will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m., at University Stadium.

Admission is free. Fans should enter through the south end of the stadium.

The highly-spirited weightlifting exhibition culminates UNM’s offseason conditioning program and will determine the 2004 Beefmaster Award winners. The Beefmaster Award is presented annually to five Lobos based on their body weight and total weight lifted in the bench press, incline press, squat and power clean.

The extremely popular Night of Champions will involve 24 Lobos divided evenly into two teams. The teams will participate in the bench press, incline press, power clean and squat.
