Revised Security Policies at University Stadium Begin With BYU Game

To ensure the safety of all fans attending University of New Mexico football games, the following policies will be in effect at University Stadium for the remainder of the 2001 season:

1) Backpacks or large bags will not be allowed inside the stadium.

2) Diaper bags and purses will be allowed but are subject to search.

3) There will be an increased security presence both inside and outside ofUniversity Stadium.

Stadium gates will continue to open 90 minutes before kickoff, however, due to the implementation of these new policies, all fans are encouraged toenter the stadium at least 30 minutes before kickoff.
