Jacob Girgle enters his second season as an offensive graduate assistant with the Lobos after a three-year career on the defensive side of the ball as a safety.
With the offense, Girgle works with UNM’s receiving corps, handling practice planning, film breakdown and on-the-field coaching. Girgle also helps with statistical analysis and film preparation.
Girgle lettered in 2016 and 2017 for the Lobos after redshirting in 2015. Over his two seasons on the field, Girgle recorded 87 tackles, 2.0 for loss, six pass breakups and two interceptions.
