Kyle Kudrna is in his fourth year with the New Mexico football program, and his first as the full-time Assistant Director of Athletic Performance. He previous spent three years as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant for the team. He comes to UNM after a brief stay at Arizona State and three years working for North Dakota State.

Kyle works closely with Ben Hilgart in administering all facets of UNM’s athletic performance regimen. During practice Kudrna assists in all stretching and warm-up exercises, and then works with many of UNM’s rehabbing players in order to get them back to the field as quickly as possible.

Kudrna has worked primarily with football over his career, but he also has experience with track and cross country, wrestling, volleyball, softball, baseball, men’s and women’s swimming, men’sand women’s golf, and women’s water polo.

He received his bachelor’s in exercise science from North Dakota State in 2012 and is currently pursuing his master’s in sports administration. He is CPR and AED certified and also owns a USA Weightlifting Level One certification.
