Dante Mileta officially rejoined the Lobo Family in May of 2023, and since September of 2026, he has served as Sr. Associate A.D. for Business Operations. Before that, he served as Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations and Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations for the Lobo Club.
As the Associate A.D. for Business Operations, Dante is an integral part of UNM’s Athletic Leadership team, and he oversees all finances for UNM’s entire department. Working closely with UNM’s V.P./Director of Athletics, Dante also serves as a bridge between UNM’s financial matters and the main campus.
With the Lobo Club, Mileta handled all aspects of transactions for the organization, including implementing and recording all gifts and reconciliation. Mileta will also work closely with the athletic department regarding UNM’s gift-in-kind program. Mileta is no stranger to UNM athletics, as he spent several seasons as a student manager and a graduate assistant for the Lobo Baseball program under Ray Birmingham.
Before returning to UNM, Mileta spent nearly three years at SJT Group, working as a staff and senior accountant.
Dante has two degrees from UNM. He graduated with both a bachelor’s in business administration (2018) and a master’s in business administration (2020) from the Anderson School.
He and his wife, Alyssa, have a son, Nico, born in 2026.
