
Gallegos joined the Lobos in September 2018 and serves as the primary contact for women’s soccer, women’s basketball and baseball, and is also the secondary contact for men’s soccer.
Prior to his time with the Lobos, Gallegos spent five years at Southern Arkansas, where he served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications. Gallegos helped further the Mulerider communications efforts, including a total website redesign, improved social media content, and complete livestreaming of nearly all home Mulerider athletic events. In addition to handling publicity for the 14-sport Division II Southern Arkansas department, he helped host four NCAA Tournaments hosted by Southern Arkansas, including the 2018 baseball and softball regional tournaments, which were held at the same time
Gallegos, who grew up in Albuquerque and still has family in the Duke City, has also served in several athletic communication roles as an assistant at the University of the Ozarks, Allegheny College, and at Henderson State.
A graduate of the University of the Ozarks in May of 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Strategic Communications, Gallegos earned his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Henderson State in May of 2013.
Gallegos is married to the former Kylie Venable and the couple has one daughter, Parker Grace.
