Brandon Hurst joined the Lobo Family in January of 2023 and serves an Assistant Director of Marketing. At UNM, Brandon will oversee marketing for baseball, volleyball and he will assist with football and basketball. He also oversees the Howl Zone and the Lobo Kids Club.
Hurst came to UNM after a two-year stint at Northern Arizona, where he served as Marketing and Fan Engagement Graduate Assistant. With the Lumberjacks, he helped coordinate fan experience at designated home events, running music, public address scripts, videoboard, sponsorship fulfillment, national anthem, halftime acts/on-court promotions, band, and spirit squad He also oversaw the Lumberjack Louie’s Kid and Pet Club and the mascot program.
Hurst assisted with fan engagement content creation, fulfillment of sponsorships, special events and other tasks. He specifically worked with the sports of women’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s tennis and women’s tennis. He also had oversight responsiblities with NAU football tailgates and community marketing efforts.
Hurst graduated from Grand Canyon in 2017 with a degree in sports management. He is a native of Flagstaff, Arizona.
