
Carmyn Harrison joined as a graduate assistant for the UNM women’s basketball program in July 2025.
Harrison played collegiately at Belmont her junior and senior seasons after attending Georgia Tech for her first two seasons. As a senior, the forward averaged 5.0 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game, starting in 11 of the 39 games she played in. As a senior, she made the Fort Myers Tipoff All-Tournament Team. Her junior season, the Memphis, Tennessee native played in 35 games and an average of 14.9 minutes per game, scoring 3.1 points per game and averaging 3.2 rebounds per game. In her first two seasons at GT, Harrison played in 33 games. Academically, she was named to the All-ACC Academic Team her sophomore season.
In high school, she ranked as the No. 10 post player in the country in the 2021 class by ESPN and was named the 2021 Daily Memphian Player of the Year as a senior at the Hutchison School in Memphis. In addition, Harrison was a five-time all-region performer and three-time all-state selection, winning a pair of regional championships and the 2020-21 state title, as well as being a finalist for Miss Basketball.
She graduated from Belmont with a bachelor’s in environmental science and is currently pursuing a master’s in community and regional planning.
