SOPHOMORE (at UTEP, 2023): Threw 88.0 innings while appearing in 28 games with 16 starts and four complete games… added 29 strikeouts to her career total following at least one strikeout in 16 games with a season-high seven strikeouts in an 8.0 inning complete-game win against Western Kentucky.

FRESHMAN (at UTEP, 2022): Made 32 appearances with 24 starts and 12 complete games… finished the season with 10 wins, three saves and a shutout and carried a 4.67 ERA.. led the pitching staff in appearances, starts, complete games, wins, innings pitched, ERA and strikeouts… struck out 72 batters in 132.0 innings in the circle… recorded five or more strikeouts in four games with a season-high eight in an 8.0 inning outing… pitched a one-hit shutout, striking out three and allowing one walk.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Cleveland High School in 2021… 2021 5A New Mexico State champion… went 21-2 with a 1.14 ERA, striking out 152 in 123 innings pitched… named 2021 Defensive Player of the Year and All-State Pitcher… three-time all-district first team.

PERSONAL: Birthday is Aug. 29… born in Las Cruces, N.M. … parents are Marisa and Santiago Alarcon… has two siblings, Jaiden and Dominic… majoring in organizational & corporate communication.
