Nick Williams

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Albuquerque Academy, playing under Laney Lolek … his team won the New Mexico 5A State Championships in 2015 and 2016 … State Championship runner-up in 2014 and 2017 … his 2015 team finished 12th in the nation in the USA Today/NSCAA rankings … was named a 5A All-State Defender in 2015 and 2017 and a 5A All-State Midfielder in 2016 … also lettered in baseball, with his team winning the 5A State Championship in 2014 and being the runner-up in 2017 … was named a 5A All-State Outfielder in 2017.

CLUB CAREER: Played at the club level for Rio Rapids SC 2000’s in Albuquerque.

PERSONAL: Born on January 14 to Greg and Laurie Williams … has two siblings, Abby (20) and Ryan (10) … his favorite athlete is Alex Bregman … his father, Greg, graduated from UNM’s law school in 1995 … when asked why he chose UNM, Williams said, “I grew up watching Lobo soccer, football, basketball, and baseball, and I always dreamed of representing the cherry and silver on the men’s soccer team.”
