HIGH SCHOOL:  Attended Jamaica College … led his high school U19 team as captain, winning three of four titles during the 2017-2018 season … was the vice captain during the 2016-2017 season, winning two of the four titles … was named in the All -School and All-Manning team across the country … was the vice captain at both the U14 and the U16 level … represented Jamaica in the U20 qualifiers with three caps … was a reserve in the U17 CONCACAF round to go to the World Cup in 2015 … was named 2015-2016 Sports Man of the Year … Good Academic Performance 2012-2015… most improved on the U19 team in the 2014-2015 season … was invited as one of the top six of 40 players to the Digicel Kickstart Clinic at the Manchester City Football Academy of England’s prestigious Barclays Premiere League, drawing looks from Chelsea and Manchester City … was later announced as one of the six most outstanding players … 45 appearances in U19 with 44 starts … played 3600 minutes … led his team to the Sportsmax Elite League  Championship, appearing eight times with seven starts, playing 630 minutes …was a Student Council representative …was in the United Nations club.

PERSONAL: His hobbies include playing FIFA, training on his own and reading and browsing the internet … his favorite movie is Top Shottas … he enjoys learning, either in the classroom, on the field, or elsewhere … can play cricket … when asked why he chose UNM, Howell said, “I have chosen UNM because it is the best option for me and my family at this time.
