Mike Nesbitt joined the men’s basketball staff after graduating with a degree in business management and playing for the Lobos in 2015-16. He is currently working towards his master’s while also getting his feet wet on the court as a graduate assistant.

In his senior season with the Lobos, Nesbitt appeared in five games. He made his debut in The Pit against Loyola-Chicago on Nov. 18, 2015. Nesbitt transferred in from Missouri A&T where he played three seasons for the Miners of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (NCAA Division II). For the Miners, he average 9.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in the 2014-15 season.

Nesbitt started his prep career at Evansville Memorial High School, where he was a Second Team All-Area selection as a sophomore and First Team All-Conference award winner as a junior. He finished is high school career at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind., where he played for current assistant coach Alan Huss.
