Game by Game Promotions

Lobo Classic- February 24th- 27th

  • Thursday, Feb 24th– Opening Day
    • Lobo fans will have their first opportunity to get the 2021-22 team poster
  • Friday, Feb. 25th– Freebie Friday
    • Lobo fans will have the opportunity to grab the 2021-22 team poster and other Lobo promotional items for FREE.
  • Saturday, Feb 26th– Strike Out Cancer Saturday
    • The Lobos will wear their Turquoise jerseys and ribbons to honor those with Ovarian Cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear turquoise.
    • Lobo fans will enjoy free admission to this game.
  • Sunday, Feb 27th – Strike Out Cancer Sunday
    • The Lobos will partner with UNM Comprehensive Cancer to raise awareness for breast cancer. Fans are encouraged to wear pink.

 New Mexico State- Tuesday, March 8th

  • Rio Grande Rivalry
    • Three Dollar Tuesday- Admission to the game with be $2 for all fans
    • All fans are encouraged to wear Cherry
    • The team will celebrate International Women’s Day by giving away “Girl Power” buttons to all the little girls in attendance

 Utah State- March 25th– 27th

  • Friday, March 25th– Mental Health Awareness Night
    • The Lobos will bring awareness to the issue of mental health in student-athletes by wearing lime green ribbons in their hair.
  • Saturday, March 26th – TBD
    • Check Back for more info.
  • Sunday, March 27th– Pride Day
    • The Lobos will honor the LGTBQ+ community with Pride night by partnering with the on campus group.
    • The first 100 fans will receive a rainbow flag.

Fresno State- April 14th-16th

  • Thursday, April 14th– 505 Night/Turquoise Thursday
    • Check back for more info.
  • Friday, April 15th – Military Appreciation Day
    • The Lobos will honor those who have served/are serving in the Military on this day.
  • Saturday, April 16th– Brunch in the Park
    • The Saturday before Easter Sunday, the Lobos will celebrate with Brunch in the Park. Doughnuts and Coffee will be given away to the first 100 fans in attendance.
    • Postgame Easter Egg Hunt: All kids 8th grade and under will have the opportunity to collect candy-filled eggs postgame on the Softball field.

UNLV- April 29th – May 1st: Youth and Family Weekend

  • Friday, April 29th– Free Kid Friday
    • All Kid’s 8th grade and under are FREE. The first 100 kids in attendance will receive a “Lobo” School pouch.
  • Saturday, April 30th– Little League Night
    • All local travel ball and little league teams are welcome to this game to participate in a pre-game parade and post-game autographs. For more info please contact Jacob Chavez at jacobchavez@unm.edu
  • Sunday, May 1st– Sunday Funday
    • Lobo fans of all ages will be invited to party like a Lobo for our pre-game tailgate with tailgate games, a face painter, and more.

SDSU- May 12th-14th

  • Thursday, May 12th– Protect the Pack Night
    • The Lobos will raffle off select prizes as part of the last homestand. Fans are encouraged to wear Cherry.
  • Friday, May 13th– Alumni Night
    • The Lobos will honor all Alumni who have come back pre-game.
  • Saturday, May 14th– Senior Day/Fan Appreciation Day
    • The Lobos will honor their Seniors with a pre-game ceremony.
    • 7 innings of winning: The Lobos will give away a prize each inning as part of Fan Appreciation Day.

Multi-Game Promotions

  • Anthem Buddies: All youth softball teams (age 12 and under) are invited to join Lobo Softball this season during the national anthem please contact Jacob Chavez at jacobchavez@unm.edu
  • Postgame Kid’s Run the bases: After the last game of every Mountain West Conference series, all youth in 12 and under can run the bases
  • Postgame Autographs: Fans will be invited down to the field to get autographs from the team at select games
  • Postgame Catch: Kid’s will be invited down to the field to get “play catch” at select games

Season-Long Promotions

  • Foul Balls: For every foul ball returned a prize will be given
  • 5th Inning T-shirt Toss: Get on your feet during the 5th inning stretch for the chance to catch a t-shirt.
  • What’s in Your Pocket: Each game we will select a random item of the game and the first person to bring that item to the marketing table receives a prize! The item will be announced during the 3rd
  • Home Runs: For every homerun, lucky fan will win a prize courtesy of Two Boys Donuts
