2014 Indoors: Competed at five meets for the Lobos … Opened at the Cherry & Silver Invitational, placing fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 52 feet (15.85 meters) … Notched back-to-back seventh-place finishes in the triple jump, leaping 51-3 (15.62) at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational and 50-10 ¼ (15.50) at the Albuquerque-hosted USATF Indoor Championships … Scored in both horizontal jumps at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, winning the triple jump with a leap of 51-4 ½ (15.66) and placing eighth in the long jump with a distance of 22-11 ¼ (6.99).
2014 Outdoors: Participated at six meets, including the opening weekend of the national championships … Opened in the long jump at the Beach Invitational with a mark of 21-5 ¼ (6.53 meters) … First action in the triple jump came at the Lobos’ home meets, the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational, where he placed third with a mark of 51 ¼ (15.55) … Won the triple jump at the Air Force Twilight Open, leaping 48-1 ½ (14.66) … Like at the indoor conference meet, scored in both horizontal jumps at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, placing second in the triple jump (50-8 ¾/15.46) and eighth in the long jump (22-10/6.96) … Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round, placing 13th with a leap of 51-1 ¾ (15.59) and just missing qualifying to the national finals.
