Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Opened the season with a 1500m personal best (3:52.36) in his first competition in a Lobo uniform at the UNM Spring Invitational (3/23) … Ran the No. 8 10,000m time in program history at the Stanford Invitational (28:19.01) on March 29, finishing 15th … Followed with a 5,000m PB (13:34.14) at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4/12) that ranks No. 4 in program history … Competed in both the 5,000m and 10,000m at MW Outdoor Championships, finishing as a MW runner-up in the 10K (29:10.71) for his first All-Conference honors before finishing 8th in the 5K (14:09.13) … Qualified for NCAA West Region Preliminaries in both distances, narrowly missing out on a trip to NCAA Outdoor Championships with a 13th-place finish in the 5K (13:57.94) and a 15th-place finish in the 10K (29:02.96).
