AUDIO PRONUNCIATION

JUNIOR (2024): Played in 53 games with 51 starts… started 36 games at third, 15 games behind the plate… season-high two hits came against San Diego State on April 3… twice registered two RBI (against Marist on Feb. 16 and against Toledo on March 2)… recorded 97 putouts and 68 assists, with the assists being the second most on the team… went 3-4 in stolen bases… caught four runners trying to steal, including two against Houston Christian on Feb. 17.

SOPHOMORE (at Stephen F. Austin, 2023): Played in 51 games with 50 starts… hit .212 with a .293 on-base percentage and .297 slugging percentage behind 25 hits, four doubles, two home runs and accounted for 13 RBI… recorded a hit in 19 games with multiple hits in six games and at least one RBI in nine games that included a season-high four RBI game… behind the plate, threw out five runners.

FRESHMAN (at Stephen F. Austin, 2022): Played in 54 games while starting in 52… finished with a .245 batting average, .338 slugging percentage, .286 on-base percentage and registered 37 hits, six doubles, one triple and two home runs to go with 16 RBI… posted a hit in 28 games with two five-game hitting streaks, eight multi-hit games and drove in a run in 13 games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Brewer High School in 2021… earned first team all-district three times, was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 and the Offensive Player of the Year three times… won the 2021 6-5A bi-district and area championships… academic all-district from 2018-2021, academic all-state 2021… member of the National Honor Society… named to the all-metroplex all-star team in 2021.

CLUB: Played for Texas Glory… 2021 18u USA North Texas Fall Shootout champs and 2021 18u TFL Fall Championships runner-up.

PERSONAL: Birthday is Sept. 17… born in Fort Worth, Texas… parents are Chris and Leah Carithers… has two siblings, Colby and Sadie… majoring in physical education.
