FRESHMAN (2017): Did not play for the Lobos.
CLUB: Competed under coach Dennis Genas for Elite 99 where he helped his squad to a state championship in 2012 and 2016 … helped his team to state runner-up status in 2017 … also competed for Rush Swoosh, Rio Rojos and Rio 2000s.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer at Sandia High School under coach Brian Weems where he was named the 2016 and 2017 Offensive player of the Year … tallied 21 goals and 17 assists in his varsity career … is a two-time All-State honoree (2016, 2017), a two-time All-District honoree (2016, 2017) and was named Second Team All-Metro in 2017 … helped his squad to the Metro Championship in 2016 … came away with eight game-winning goals from 2015-2017 … a member of the National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars … a two-time academic letter winner.
PERSONAL: Born Aug. 26 … has three siblings, Inayah (19), Machaayah (18) and Sapirah (16) … favorite athletes include Pele, Ronaldinho and Neymar … favorite food is spaghetti, favorite movie is Avatar … his uncle Alvin played basketball for the Lobos in the 2000-2001 season.
