Freshman (2016): Midyear enrollee that raced in all 12 races and qualified for his first NCAA championships … led the men’s Nordic squad with 199 points … opened his career with a top 10 finish in Utah, coming in ninth in the 10K freestyle race, his best freestyle finish of the season … turned in his best performance in the next meet, coming in fifth in the 20K classical at Montana State … just missed a top five finish, coming in sixth in the 10K classical at the Jade Enterprises/UNM Invitational … had his final top 10 in the 20K classical at the RMISA Championships.

Prior to UNM:A transfer from the University of Jyväskylä … took 43rd in the 50K freestyle at the Finnish National Championships … had a pair of fifth place finishes in freestyle sprints in China, one at Nalati and one at Xiwuqi … had a top 10 finish with a ninth-place finish in Ristijaervi, Finland … finished 21st in the 2014 Finnish National Junior Championships in the 30K mass start classical race.
