Cross Country (Freshman): Opened the season with an impressive 8th-place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree (21:03.3 for 6k) against a deep national field. She followed with another strong effort at Wisconsin Pre-Nationals, placing 38th in 20:07.5 and helping UNM secure a competitive team result … at the Mountain West Championships, she claimed 4th place with a time of 20:27.5, earning All-Mountain West honors … stepped up at the NCAA Mountain Regional, placing 7th in 19:57.7 to secure All-Region honors and an individual qualification to nationals … At NCAA Championships, Kirarei capped her season with a 35th-place finish in 20:01.3, earning All-America honors.
Indoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Transitioning to the track, Kirarei opened her indoor campaign at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, running 9:12.46 in the 3,000 meters (28th) and 16:17.54 in the 5,000 meters (63rd).

Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): NCAA West Region Preliminary Qualifier … PR’d twice in the 1500m and 5,000m to open the season, posting a 4:24.23 1500m time and 15:49.77 5,000m time at the Bryan Clay Invitational April 11-13 for two new lifetime bests … Finished 15th in the 5,000m at MW Outdoor Championships (16:54.12) … Qualified for NCAA Regionals in the 5,000m, finishing 43rd (17:38.17).
Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Won the 3,000m at the New Mexico Team Open in her first collegiate competition (9:17.32) on Jan. 27 … Won the Mile at the NM Collegiate Classic with a new lifetime best (4:48.35) on Feb. 3 in her next outing … Ran a new personal best in her first 5,000m race (16:14.89) at the BU Valentine Invitational on Feb. 10, finishing 38th … Won both the 5,000m (16:19.78) and 3,000m (9:23.29) titles at MW Indoor Championships, winning by more than 35 seconds in the 5,000m … Scored 20 of UNM’s 85.5 points.
