2018 Outdoors: Competed in five meets… opened his season with a second place finish in javelin at the Don Kirby Tailwind Open (188-8 (57.52m))… Finished in seventh place at the Mountain West Championships in javelin, throwing a 193-8 (59.03m).
2016-17
2017 Outdoors: Saw action at four meets, all in the javelin … Opened with a third-place showing at the Sun Angel Classic, tossing the spear 195-2 (59.49m) … Took fifth at the Cardinal Classic (191-3; 58.29m) … Hit 200 feet even at the Longhorn Invitational, placing fifth … Scored at the Mountain West Championships, placing sixth overall with a hurl of 196-5 (59.88m).

Played football at Eastern New Mexico University, where he studied criminology and made the dean’s list … Graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, where he lettered in track & field and football … In track, earned first place at the APS Metro Championships in 10th, 11th and 12th grades … Placed third at the New Mexico State Championships and the Great Southwest Classic in 10th grade … Won the State Championships in 11th and 12th grade … Left Sandia with the school record in the javelin … In football, was named all-metro, all-district and all-state.
