: Ran at two meets … Opened with a ninth-place time of 5:06.40* in the mile at the the New Mexico Classic … Posted a time of 16:44.01 in the 5K at the Washington Husky Classic, placing 21st … At the Mountain West Indoor Championships, placed seventh in the 3000 (9:47.97*) and third in the 5000 (16:39.27*), earning All-MW honors in the 5K.
2012 Outdoor: Competed at four meets, twice in the 5K and thrice in the 10K … Opened with a fourth-place time in the 5000 at the Stanford Invitational, finishing in 16:28.59 … Clocked a winning time in the 10000 of 34:27.53 at the Mt. SAC Relays … At the MW Outdoor Championships, notched a ninth-place finish in the 5000 (17:51.41*) and fifth-place finish in the 10000 (35:30.47*) … Qualified to the First Round of the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas, and finished 30th with a 36:18.53 time.

: Was unable to compete due to a broken foot … This injury held her out for the entire cross country season as well.
2011 Outdoor: Continued to deal with the injury to her foor for the entire season, but made an incredible comeback at the end of the season … Ran her very first meet at the MWC Championships in the 10,000m … She placed third in an extremely competitive field with a time of 36:24.13 … That time sent her to the West Regional in Eugene, Oregon.

2010 Indoor
: Ran at four competitions … Opened at the New Mexico Invitational, picking up third place in the 3,000m run with a time of 10:18.25 … Nabbed a sixth-place finish in the mile at the New Mexico Classic & Multis, clocking in with her personal best of 5:10.93 … At the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships,finished eighth in the 3,000m runwith a time of10:02.17 (her personal best) and sixth in the 5,000m run with a time of 17:31.05.
2010 Outdoor: Competed at four meets … Clocked her personal best in the 5,000m run at the 52nd Annual Mt. SAC Relays, finishing in 16:45.58 … Scored at the MWC Championships in the 10,000-meters with a raw time of 37:44.31, breaking the stadium record with a 2nd place finish after having been sick with the stomach flu for the previous four days … Qualified for the NCAA Preliminaries in the 10K where she ran a time of 36:11.18 … Added a point to the New Mexico women’s score with a time of 18:00.02 in the 5,000-meters at the MWC Championships for 8th place.

2008-09
2009 Indoor and Outdoor: Redshirted both seasons … Did run one race, the 3,000m run at the Cherry & Silver Invitational, finishing unattached in second place.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Jasper (Ind.) High School … named an Indiana Cross Country All-Star after finishing seventh at the state finals as a senior … 2007 sectional champion and a two-time regional and semi-state cross country winner … earned class 3A all-state honors as a junior and senior, and was a four-time all-Big 8 Conference honoree for XC coach Kevin Schipp … helped the Wildcats advance to the state XC meet from 2004-06 … set school records in the 3,200, 1,600 and 3,200 relay … swept sectional titles in the 1,600 and 3,200 as a senior … also won the 3,200 at the sectional meet as a junior … helped JHS win sectional team titles from 2006-08 … 3-time all-Big 8 on the track for coach Joan Schaeffer … also a four-year letterwinner on the swim team … graduated in the top-10 percent of her class.

Born in Jasper, Ind … full name is Lacey Korinne Oeding … daughter of Luke and Anna Oeding … has a younger brother, Jake … plans to major in Dietetics and Exercise Science and would like a career as a sports nutritionist.
