Raced the fastest 8K of his career at the OSU Winter Open in 2020: a 24:29.3 finish that place him seventh… contributed majorly to the Cowboys’ third-place, podium team finish at the 2020 NCAA Cross Country Championships as the fifth finisher, rounding out Oklahoma State’s scoring members in a 31:17.0, 80th-place performance.
Ran in five races during 2018 outdoor season… kicked things off with a third-place finish in the 1,500 meters at the Arkansas Spring Invitational… Won the 1,500 meters at the Arkansas Twilight in 3:46.41… Ran in the 5,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships and placed sixth, earning his first career All-Big 12 award… Made it to the NCAA West Regional in the 5,000 meters.
Ran four times for the Cowboys in the 2018 indoor season… opened up with a fourth-place finish in the 1,000 meters at the K-State Winter Invitational… took 10th in the Mile at the Razorback Invitational… Competed in the 3,000 meters at the Big 12 Championships and came in ninth, just barely missing out on an All-Big 12 honor.
Prior to OSU
Attended St. Flannan’s College in Ireland… Set the Irish Junior National Record in the 5,000 meters… Played hurling, gaelic football, handball and swimming in high school.
