2014 Indoors: Competed at seven meets for the Lobos, competing at the nation’s collegiate and professional championships … Opened with a fourth-place mark of 24-5 (7.45 meters) in the long jump at the Cherry & Silver Invitational … Placed fourth in the long jump at the New Mexico Team Invitational, leaping 23-10 ¾ (7.28) … Won the 60 meters at the New Mexico Classic, finishing in 6.87* … Registered a third-place finish of 25-1 ½ (7.65) in the long jump at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational … Took sixth in the long jump at the USATF Indoor Championships, leaping 24-8 ½ (7.53) … Won the long jump at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships with a mark of 25-9 ¼ (7.85) while also earning all-conference honors in the 60 with a time of 6.84* … Advanced to the UNM- and Albuquerque-hosted NCAA Championships in the long jump, earning his second All-America nod with an eighth-place finish of 25-1 ¾ (7.66).
2014 Outdoors: Saw action at eight meets … Opened with a sixth-place leap of 24-2 ¼ (7.37 meters) at the Texas Relays … Placed third in the long jump at the Beach Invitational with a mark of 24-11 (7.59) … Jumped 24-6 (7.48) in the long jump at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge … Won the long jump at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational, leaping 26-1 (7.95) … Took second in the long jump and third in the 4×100 at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, leaping 25-2 ¾ (7.69) in the long jump … Advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the long jump, tying for 17th with a mark of 24 ¼ (7.32).

2012-13
2013 Indoors: Another solid season for the sprinter/long jump specialist, as he competed in seven meets … Competed in his main event, the long jump, five times, starting with a 23-10 (7.26m) mark at the Cherry & Silver Invitational to take third … Claimed third again at the New Mexico Invitational, leaping 23-11 1/2 (7.30m) … Launched a mark of 24-6 1/2 (7.48m) at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational to place fourth … Won the Mountain West title in the long jump at the conference championships, finishing with a leap of 24-9 3/4 (7.56m) … Managed to secure a NCAA Championships bid at the Alex Wilson Invitational as he leaped a winning 25-1 1/4 (7.65m) … Couldn’t translate that late-season success into a mark at the NCAAs as he fouled each of his three attempts at the national championships … Did see some success, however, in the sprints, reaching times of 6.86* and 6.85 in the 60-meter dash at the New Mexico Invitational and MW Championships, respectively … Was able to earn all-conference honors in the 60 at the MW Championships with his third-place finish.
2013 Outdoors: Saw action at six meets, competing in both the 100-meter dash and the long jump … His best 100-meter times came at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational (10.58*) and Air Force Triangular (10.52*), where he placed fourth and first, respectively … Did win the long jump at the Don Kirby, leaping 25 1/2 (7.63m) … Also had solid marks at the Mt. SAC Relays (24-2 1/4 [7.37m]) and the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (24-9 1/4 [7.55m]), placing eighth and second, respectively … Won the MW long jump title with a mark of 24-6 1/2 (7.48m) … Did qualify to the NCAA West Preliminary championships, just missing the NCAA finals as he placed 13th with a mark of 24-10 1/2 (7.58m).

2011-12
2012 Indoors: Arguably the best indoor season of the decade, winning the conference and national title in the long jump … Competed at seven meets, in both the sprints and the long jump … First crack at the long jump was a win at the Cherry & Silver Invitational with a 24-7 mark … Placed seventh in the 200 and second in the long jump with marks of 22.14* and 24-6 1/2, respectively … Won the long jump at the Mountain West Indoor Championships with a then-school record (and personal record) leap of 25-7 1/2 … Also claimed fouth in the 60 with a 6.91* time … Advanced to the NCAA Championships after his record-breaking mark, and won the national championships with the current school record of 26-3 1/2.
2012 Outdoors: After his record indoor season, started the outdoor campaign with the national benchmark … Competed at six meets overall and in the long jump at five meets … His first long jump, a winning 26-8 1/4 leap at the Don Kirby Tailwind Invitational, was the NCAA’s top mark at the time and came within a quarter inch of the school record … Came in second at the UTEP Invitational with a wind-aided leap of 25-4 1/2 … Won the long jump at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with a 25-5 1/2 mark … Took third at the MW Championships with a 24-1 leap … Advanced to the First Round of the NCAA Championships, posting a 23-7 1/2 leap.

2010-11
2011 Indoors: Redshirt season … Competed in only one meet for the season, UNM Lobo Collegiate Open, in the 60 and the long jump.
2011 Outdoors: Competed solely in the long jump for the season, competing in five different meets … Notched a mark of 21′-11.5″ (6.69m) in the Sun Angel Classic at Arizona State University, placing 17th overall … Won the long jump at both the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational and the UTEP Invitational, posting a wind-assisted career high of 24′-8.25″ (7.52m) at the UTEP Invite … Picked up a fifth-place at the Brutus Invitational, with a mark of 22’8″ (6.91m) … Placed first at the MWC Championships in Ft. Collins in the long jump and qualified for the NCAA West Regional Preliminary round in Oregon.

2009-10
2010 Indoors: Competed in seven meets freshman year competing in 60m, 200m, and the Long Jump … Ran a season best in the 60m at the UNM Cherry and Silver Inviational running a time of 6.85 … a At the UNM Lobo Challenge, put a mark down of 6.99m in the long jump … Competed in the 200m and the long jump at the MW Championships placing 6th in the 200m and 3rd in the Long Jump.
2010 Outdoors: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2009 graduate of San Mateo (Calif.) High School … only ran track his final two years for coach Ed Riley, but finished with school records in the 100m (10.65) and 200m (21.55), as well as a best of 23-06 in the long jump … became the first person to sweep all three events at the 2009 Central Coast Section meet after winning the 100 and long jump, and finishing second in the 200 the previous year … solely responsible for his team’s second place finish at the CCS meet in `09 and third place finish in `08 … earned public recognition from state assemblywoman Gene Mullins for his achievement … state finalist in the 100 (8th), 200 (9th) and long jump (7th) as a senior … all-metro, all-country, team MVP and CCS Athlete of the Year as a junior and senior … also lettered two years in wrestling and football.

Born in San Francisco, Calif … Son of Wyner and Pamela Spencer … Has an older brother, Caldwell, and younger brother, Cairo … An accomplished hip-hop dancer, working with the Funkanometry SF professional dance company … Intends to major in Psychology and African American Studies and pursue a career as a behaviorist.
