Sprinter out of Valencia (N.M.) High School … Three-time state champion in the 200-meter dash … Won the 100 and the 200 at the 2014 and 2015 New Mexico 4A State Championships … Clocked a personal-record time of 21.61 to claim his third-straight 200-meter title his senior year … Won the 200 at the 4A District Championships … Swept both short sprints at the 2013 and 2014 district meets, as well … Set his personal record in the 100 at the 2015 Richard Harper Invitational, clocking a time of 10.71 for the win … During his senior year, took second in both short sprints at the Marilyn Sepulveda Track and Field Classic, and swept both at the Valencia Invite and the Jim Burke Invitational
