REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN YEAR (2016): Played in 47 games for the Lobos either at catcher, first base, second base or outfield … finished the season with a .221 batting average … tallied 29 hits and 12 RBIs … recorded three home runs … earned a .990 fielding percentage … finished second on the team in putouts with 166 … recorded only two errors … Her best game was against Colorado State on April 15 where she went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and recorded five putouts on defense.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2015): Took her first year as a redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: a 2014 graduate of Volcano Vista High School in Albuquerque, N.M….four-year letterwinner…played under coach Cheryl Johnson…was 2011 and 2012 metro, district and state champions…Spring Female Athlete of the Year (2013)…scholar athlete (2014)…played summer ball for the Arizona Hotshots under coach Ewing and Householder.
PERSONAL: Born on October 17 in Albuquerque, N.M., to parents Jane Gray and Ron Tucker…has younger brother, Jonan…enjoys snowboarding and snorkeling…lists Jessica Mendoza as her favorite athlete, huevos rancheros as her favorite food and Fever Pitch as her favorite movie…majoring in business.
